Donna Brazile on Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris

I'm excited to say that I firmly believe Kamala Harris is the real deal. Not only is she qualified to serve as vice president, but I do believe that she's qualified to serve as president. She has been vetted. She's undergone a lot of scrutiny. But I think she is perhaps the Vice President's [Joe Biden] best chance to the White House in 2020.

No one asked me if I was smiling while Mr. Putin was hacking the DNC. Nobody asked me if I was smiling when they began to interfere in our election. No one asked me if I was smiling when they began to put false information out there that's so confusing ... We can't smile every day. We can't smile when we are in pain. We cannot smile when our families are hurting. We cannot smile when people are suffering. No, don't ask me to smile when I'm at my job.

Mike Pence has to get permission from his wife in order to have a meeting with another woman, so we'll see if he'll actually show up to the [vice presidential] debate.
